Hollywood Slots Earnings Improves for the Month of April 2009

This is not the best time for casino gaming operations all over the United States. Gaming profits has been sliding rapidly during the financial crisis and casino facilities seem to be having the worse fate than most industries.

Maine residents, together with their lawmakers, have not been in favor of expanded casino gaming. But that does not mean that they do not support casino gaming. It may seem confusing but the gaming figures released on April 29th, 2009 about Hollywood Slots revenues clarifies a lot of things. The Hollywood Slots in Bangor is a casino site in Maine.

Revenue for the month of April 2009 actually improved over the month of March, something not many casino facilities in the United States can boast about. The figures improve to even bigger profit increases when considering year to year data. April 2009 had a 17% increase from April 2008. Those results are deceiving because last year, the slots had only had 475 slot machines.
