Schaeffer Wins $4.2 Million on Slot Machines

On April 29th, 2008, while a retired steel employee is playing the slot machine with two female friends, they saw 5 eagles come up in front of them, which means that the man won more than $4.2 million.

83 year-old Robert M. Schaeffer, a widower from Temple, Pennsylvania commented that he does not want to believe when the slot machine said that he must call the attendant. He has been playing the Video Megabucks slot machine for a long time now. It is around 7 p.m. when he won the prize while playing at the Resorts Atlantic City. He said that he was starting to run out of cash when the five eagles appeared.

Schaeffer said he has no plans to use the money on traveling because he wants to set-up a trust fund for his 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Schaeffer has retired from his job as a steel employee on 1989 and only plays at the casinos 2-3 times a year. Resorts Atlantic City casino spokesperson Brian Cahill commented that the slots jackpot won by Robert Schaeffer was the biggest in the thirty-year history of the casino.
