International Game Technology Installs sbX Server-Based Slot System in Casino dEvian

Well-known slot machine giant International Game Technology (IGT) has launched its very first European roll-out of the organization's sbX server-based gaming system for casino games like slot machines on May 25th, 2010.

The sbX system, which connects a casino facility's slot machines to a main server that permits for better gaming management, has a lot of similarities to the slot system installed in 2009 at the Aria casino and just recently at the Monte Carlo, but only on a smaller scale.

IGT, who is based in Reno, Nevada, installed the slot system at the Casino d'Evian in France, which offers three hundred slot machines and is located on Lake Geneva in a location best known for its crystal clear spring water.

Eric Perrin, the managing director of Casino d'Evian, said that they are very happy to be the first casino facility in European continent to install the sbX server-based gaming system to avail of all that the system has to offer. Aside from the Monte Carlo and Aria Casino, IGT has also installed server-based gaming systems in Ameristar St.

Charles (Missouri), Barona Resort (San Diego, California), Colusa Casino (Northern California), FireKeepers Casino (Michigan), MGM Grand Detroit, Motor City Casino (Detroit, and the Imperial Palace Biloxi in Mississippi.
