The lucky player, who has been coming to the casino since 2002 said that he was in a daze after hitting the jackpot. He said that he plans to use his winnings to save his mother's house.

There has been a slots jackpot frenzy at the Pechanga Casino with the latest winner from Long Beach becoming the 4th big winner in just more than two months at the biggest gaming facilities in the Western US. A resident of Anaheim hit the $678,367.00 jackpot on the Mystery of the Mask slot machine last September 2009.

Another slots jackpot of $799,041 on a Wizard of Oz progressive slot machine was won by a female player from Chino Hills in early September 2009. A $500,000 Bally Quick hit winner also hit in late July 2009.

Pechanga VP of Slots Buddy Frank said that the casino has more slot machines than any other casino in the state of California and far more than any casino Las Vegas.

Frank said that it is not unusual that they have more slot machine jackpots than anyone else with the amount of machines that they offer. He added that when someone wins a substantial amount of money, it adds to the excitement on the gaming floor with both of Pechanga's guests and their team members.

The Pechanga Resort and Casino is located in Temecula Valley, which is just an hour away from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Ontario Airports.
