Soaring Eagle Casino to Offer Electronic Tables and Slot Machines

As of May 19, 2007, a Michigan Casino Facility is hoping that their idea of having their players play against virtual dealers will be an instant hit.

The Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort Facility just recently launched their virtual casino, with widescreen, high definition television monitors. The virtual images of the dealers are flashed every 15 minutes.

Bill Masterson, Marketing Director for the Soaring Eagle Casino, said that it is a view of the things to come in the near future. They are hoping to utilize the capabilities of an XBOX and a slot machine.

The virtual casino opened in an unused space of the Soaring Eagle Casino. The players compete against the virtual dealer while playing roulette or even poker.

Chris Bailey, the Slot Director for the Soaring Eagle Casino Facility, stated that virtual gambling will make the game more understandable to the masses that enter casinos.

Bailey further stated that many people are intimidated by the thought of playing against a live dealer, so the virtual table games will be a great help to them.

According to Mike Hegyi, the service supervisor for gaming developer ShuffleMaster from Las Vegas, it is the large scale of the virtual casino table games in the state of Michigan.

He added that the equipment was introduced almost 2 years ago. Joe Sowmick, spokesperson for the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation, which owns the Soaring Eagle Casino, commented that the virtual casino table games are still being tested for possible uses at the planned Saganing casino facility.

The Saganing Casino facility is scheduled to open by the end of 2007. The casino can be found 30 miles of north of Bay City in the Arenac County. It will have 700 slot machines and 40 electronic casino table games for their visitors.
